About GoInvoicePrint

Free tools and plain-English guides for people who run small businesses

GoInvoicePrint is a website for freelancers, shop owners, online sellers and small teams who need to produce everyday business paperwork quickly and correctly. You open a tool, fill it in, and download the result. There is nothing to install, nothing to buy and, for most of what we offer, no account to create.

Why this site exists

Invoices, quotes, receipts and stock figures are not the reason anyone starts a business, but they consume a surprising amount of time. Many online tools make you sign up first, bury the download behind a paywall or stamp their own branding across your document. We wanted a place where the basics are simply available, where the calculations are explained rather than hidden, and where the guides read like advice from someone who has done the sums.

What you will find here

The documents section covers invoices, estimates, receipts, purchase orders, packing slips, shipping labels and expense reports, with templates, any currency, tax and discounts, a live preview and PDF download. The calculators section has around thirty tools for pricing, margins, break-even, inventory, forecasting and costing, and each page explains the formula and answers the questions people usually ask. There are also small generators for SKUs, barcodes, QR codes and product descriptions, a barcode and QR code reader that works with your camera or a photo, a profit and loss calculator, an e-commerce profit calculator, percentage and age calculators, and templates for simple financial reports.

Alongside the tools, our blog has a growing library of guides on getting paid, pricing, stock control and the documents a business sends and receives. We write them around worked examples, so you can see how the numbers behave before you try them yourself.

How the tools work

Most of the work happens inside your own browser. When you type an invoice, the totals, the preview and the PDF are produced on your device. The details of your business and your clients are not sent to us. If you create an optional account, you can save invoices online and open them from another phone or computer, but that is your choice, not a requirement.

How we pay for it

The site is free to use and is supported by advertising. We keep the tools themselves free of paid placements, and we do not sell your documents or the information in them. If you want to know how advertising and analytics affect your privacy, our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain it in detail.

How we approach accuracy

We check calculations against worked examples and we state the formula on the page so you can verify the result yourself. Even so, a tool is an aid, not an accountant. Tax rules, invoice requirements and business law differ from one country to another, and they change. Treat our results as a solid starting point, and confirm anything important with a professional. Our Disclaimer says more.

How we write the guides

Each guide is meant to answer a practical question: how to word a payment reminder, what to include on a receipt, how to work out a price that survives a discount. We try to avoid filler and padding, say when something depends on where you live, and point to the related tool so you can try the idea straight away. If you spot a mistake or something unclear, please tell us. We would rather fix it than leave it.

What we promise, and what we will not do

We will not put a watermark on your documents, hide a download behind a payment, invent testimonials or quote statistics we cannot back up. We will tell you when a result is only an estimate, and when the right answer depends on the country you work in. If we make a mistake, we will correct it, and where it matters we will say that we have.

How the site is built and kept running

The site is deliberately light. Most pages are simple, and the tools run in your browser, which keeps them fast and means they keep working on a modest phone and a slow connection. We update the content regularly, add tools and guides as we write them, and check them again when something changes. The layout adapts to phones, tablets and laptops, and you can switch to dark mode if you prefer it.

Who it is for

Freelancers and consultants who bill by the hour, makers and sellers who ship products, small shops that manage stock, and anyone who is learning how the paperwork of a small business fits together. You do not need accounting knowledge, and the guides assume none.

Tell us what is missing

The tools on this site grew out of requests and gaps, and we want to keep it that way. If a tool you need is missing, a calculator gives the wrong answer for your case, or a guide leaves a question open, write to us through the Contact page. Specific suggestions, such as the document, the fields you need and an example of the result you expect, are the easiest to act on.
