Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 11, 2026
This policy explains what happens to your information when you use goinvoiceprint.com. We wrote it to be read, not just to be filed away, so we have tried to say plainly what we collect, why, who else is involved and what you can do about it. If anything is unclear, write to us at goinvoiceprint@gmail.com.
1. Who we are
GoInvoicePrint is a website that offers free business tools: invoice and receipt makers, calculators, generators and written guides. When this policy says "we" or "us", it means the people who run the site. You can reach us through the Contact page or at goinvoiceprint@gmail.com.
2. The short version
- The documents you create, such as invoices, stay in your own browser unless you choose to save one to an account.
- An account is optional. If you make one, we store your email address, a scrambled (hashed) version of your password and the invoices you choose to save.
- We use Google Analytics to see how the site is used, and Google AdSense to show advertising. Both use cookies or similar technologies.
- If you pick a language other than English, the text of the page is sent to Google's translation service.
- We do not sell your invoices or your account details.
3. What we collect, and where it comes from
Documents and entries you make in our tools. When you type a business name, a client address or a list of items into an invoice, that content is processed in your browser to build the preview and the PDF. It is not uploaded to our servers as part of normal use.
Account information. If you sign up, we receive your email address and password. We keep the email address, and we keep a hashed form of the password, produced with a standard one-way method, so that neither we nor anyone with access to our database can read the password itself. If you press "Save to account", the invoice data you are saving is stored against your account.
Messages you send us. If you email us or use the contact form, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and we use it to reply.
Usage and device data. Like almost every website, ours and the services it uses can see technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you open, the time, and roughly where you are. Google Analytics collects this to give us statistics, and our hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs for security and reliability.
4. What stays in your browser
Our tools save drafts, your invoice history and a few preferences, such as light or dark mode, in your browser's local storage. This lives on your device. We cannot see it, and it is not copied to us. Because it belongs to your browser, clearing your browsing data, using private mode or switching to another phone or computer will make it disappear. The History panel has a backup option that downloads your invoices as a file, and we recommend using it for anything important.
5. Accounts in more detail
Accounts exist for one reason: so that you can save invoices online and open them on another device, and keep your company profile (including your bank details if you choose to add them) and a list of your clients, so that you do not have to type them again. The client details you save, such as names, email addresses, phone numbers and addresses, are information about other people that you choose to store; please add only what you need and have a right to keep. We use your email address to identify your account. We do not currently send emails to verify addresses or to reset passwords, so please keep your password somewhere safe. If you forget it, contact us and we will help where we can, although we may not be able to recover saved invoices without a way to confirm that the account is yours.
Each account can hold a limited number of saved invoices. You can delete individual invoices from your account page. To delete the whole account and everything saved in it, email us from the address you registered with, and we will remove it.
While you are signed in, our server sets a session cookie so that it knows your requests come from you. It is deleted when you close your browser or sign out.
6. Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful, how people reach the site and which devices they use. Google Analytics sets cookies and receives technical data from your browser, and Google processes it on our behalf under its own terms. We use the results to improve the site, not to identify individual visitors. You can learn more or opt out through the browser add-on that Google provides for this purpose.
7. Advertising
The site is free to use because it displays advertising through Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads and to measure how they perform, which can include ads based on your earlier visits to this or other websites. You can control personalised advertising in your Google ad settings, and in some regions we show a message that asks for your consent before non-essential cookies or personalised ads are used. We do not control how advertising partners handle data, so please read Google's own information on how it uses data from sites that use its services.
8. Translation
The language menu uses Google's website translation service. When you choose a language other than English, your browser loads that service, and the text of the page you are viewing is sent to Google so it can be translated. Your choice is stored in a small cookie. The translation is automatic and may contain mistakes. Text you have typed into an invoice preview is excluded from translation.
9. Third-party code
Some tools use open-source libraries, for example to create PDFs or draw barcodes. These files are loaded from a public content delivery network. When your browser requests them, the network provider can see your IP address and basic request details, as with any file fetched from a third party.
10. How we use information
We use information to run the tools and accounts, to keep the site secure and stop abuse, to understand and improve the site, to answer your messages, to show advertising that funds the site, and to meet our legal obligations. We do not use your saved invoices for marketing or advertising.
11. Who we share it with
We share information only with the companies that help us run the site: our hosting provider, which stores the website and account data; Google, for analytics, advertising and translation; and the content delivery network mentioned above. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or if it is needed to protect the site and its users. We do not sell the contents of your account.
12. Where your information goes
These services operate in many countries, so information may be processed outside the one where you live. Where data protection law requires safeguards for such transfers, we rely on those provided by the companies involved.
13. How long we keep it
Saved invoices and account details are kept until you delete them or ask us to. Messages you send us are kept as long as needed to deal with them and for a reasonable time afterwards. Analytics and advertising data are kept according to the settings and policies of the providers. Server logs are kept for a limited period.
14. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to limit or object to some uses, to receive a copy in a portable form, and to withdraw consent you have given. To use any of these, email us from the address linked to your account. We may need to confirm who you are first. Residents of some regions have additional rights, such as asking that their data not be sold or shared for advertising. We do not sell account data, and for advertising you can use the cookie and ad settings described above. If you are unhappy with how we respond, you can contact your local data protection authority.
15. Security
We use HTTPS where available, hash passwords, limit repeated sign-in attempts and keep stored data in a location that web visitors cannot browse. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a password you do not use elsewhere, sign out on shared devices and keep backups of anything important. Remember that data in your browser is only as private as your device.
16. Children
The site is made for adults running businesses. It is not directed at children under 13, or under 16 where local law sets that age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, tell us and we will remove it.
17. Links to other websites
Our guides and tools sometimes link to other sites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and we suggest reading their policies.
18. Changes to this policy
When we change the way we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will make it more visible on the site.
19. Contact
