GoInvoicePrint offers tools, templates and written guides to help you organise and understand business paperwork. This page explains what they are, and what they are not, so that you can use them sensibly.

Not professional advice

Nothing on this site is accounting, tax, legal, financial or investment advice. Our calculators, templates and articles are general information, written for a wide audience. They do not take account of your particular circumstances, your country's rules or the details of your business. Before you make an important decision, file a return, sign a contract or send a document that has legal or tax consequences, please speak to a qualified professional who can look at your situation.

Rules vary, and they change

The legal requirements for an invoice, a receipt or a credit note differ between countries and sometimes between regions and types of business. So do sales tax and VAT rules, late-payment rules, record-keeping periods and consumer protection. A document made with one of our templates may not contain everything your jurisdiction requires, such as a particular tax number or wording. It is your responsibility to check what applies to you.

Calculators and results

Our calculators work from the figures you enter and from the formula shown on the page. Results are estimates meant for planning. They depend entirely on your inputs, and many real situations are more complicated than a single formula can capture, for example seasonal demand, rounding rules, quantity discounts or changing costs. Check any figure against your own records before you rely on it, quote it to a customer or make a purchase based on it.

Examples are illustrations

The figures in our guides, such as prices, rates, fees and percentages, are examples chosen to show how a calculation works. They are not recommendations, benchmarks or promises about what you will earn, charge or save. Typical ranges that we mention, for instance for holding costs or deposits, are general and vary widely between industries and places.

Regulated and special situations

Some countries and industries impose their own rules on documents: mandatory electronic invoicing formats, approved numbering systems, special requirements for regulated trades, or particular wording for consumer sales. Our templates are general-purpose and are not designed to meet those specific standards. If your business falls under such rules, use a method that is approved for your situation, and ask your adviser.

Forecasts, prices and projections

Forecasts and pricing guides show how numbers behave under the assumptions you give them. They do not predict the future, and they do not guarantee that a price, a discount or a stock level will produce a particular profit. Real demand, costs and customers change.

Documents you create

You are responsible for the content of every document you produce with our tools: names, amounts, tax details, dates and terms. We do not review, store (unless you save to an account) or approve your documents, and we do not send them to anyone. Using a template does not make a document legally valid, and creating an estimate or a purchase order does not by itself create a contract.

Your data and backups

Drafts and history are kept in your browser. They can be lost if you clear your data, change devices or use private browsing. Please download backups of anything you cannot afford to lose. We are not responsible for data lost in this way, or for data lost through events outside our control.

Automatic translation

When you use the language menu, the page is translated by an automatic service. Translations can be wrong, especially for technical and financial terms. If precision matters, check against the English original.

Third-party advertising and links

The site displays advertisements and links to other websites. We do not endorse the products or services they promote, and we do not control or take responsibility for them. Think carefully before you share information with, or buy from, any third party.

No guarantee of availability or accuracy

We try to keep the site accurate, up to date and available, but we cannot promise it will always be free of errors or interruptions. We may correct, change or remove content and tools without notice.

Limits of our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss or damage that results from using the site or relying on it, including lost income, penalties, errors in documents or calculations, or decisions based on our content. This does not limit any rights you have that cannot be limited by law. Please read this together with our Terms of ServiceRefund Policy.

Tell us about mistakes

If you find an error in a tool or a guide, we would like to know. Send the page address and a short description to goinvoiceprint@gmail.com.
